After months of hard work we are proud to publish the first public stable release of the new generation of DecSoft HTML Compiler. We hope this journey just begin and we can enhance this product with a lot of future releases. Below we want to refer some of the differences between the previous generation of the product and the new generation of DecSoft HTML Compiler. Enjoy it!

Here is the new AC-Biblia, another Asley Cruz's Android app developed with DecSoft App Builder. With this app you can read varios editions of the Holy Bible (up to 7 different editions), search on it, make annotations, manage favorites and more. Here is yet another good example of application developed by 50/120 comunicacion using DecSoft's App Builder: Findme® app. This app is sold together with certain small hardware device, that we can push in certain situations, in order to automatically send SMS messages to our desired contacts. Findme® want to help people by sending messages along with our location to other people, who can help us in certain potentially dangerous situations.

Recently, the amazing team of Apache Cordova, launch the new Cordova's Electron platform. The current release of DecSoft App Builder provide us the right integration with the new Cordova's Electron platform, by creating the appropriate icons, configuration file, signing files, BATCH files for Microsoft Windows and SHELL files for Apple Mac OS. This blog entry want to refer a couple of apps made with DecSoft App Builder by Asley Cruz, a graphic designer, software developer and photographer based in New York City, USA. Asley start to work with App Builder not too much time ago, and they already published a couple of apps, and, also made another ones, privately, for their customers. Here is another good example of application developed by 50/120 comunicacion using DecSoft's App Builder: Bono Social. This application is made for a famous spanish Youtuber and for their company. The Bono Social app is deployed right now for the all the modern mobile and desktop browsers, and, also for the Google Android and the Apple iOS platforms.

I already mention that the Bono Social app is developed by 50/120 comunicacion, an spanish company which uses DecSoft's App Builder in other projects too, like the safeBonsai app and the Domo Electra app, another DecSoft's App Builder use cases. DecSoft App Builder is an IDE for Microsoft Windows, which allows to create modern HTML apps, Hybrid apps, Web Extensions and Progressive web apps. Sound good, right? Talking about hybrid apps, and, with the help of Apache Cordova, we can create multiplatform apps, ready to be deployed in Android, iOS, Windows and other platforms.

When we create a new app in the DecSoft App Builder's IDE, the default app's designtime size is 320x480, and, there must be a reason to be like that, right? The reason is how DecSoft App Builder can, optionally, auto scale our apps. DecSoft App Builder can auto scale our apps, and, this works from smaller to larger logical resolutions, but (and this is what matter here) not at the contrary.

With DecSoft App Builder we can create apps that can run, without any dependency, in all the modern desktop and mobile browsers. Also is possible to create WebExtensions for the same modern mobile and desktop browsers. Thanks to the integration with Apache Cordova, with DecSoft App Builder we can also create apps for the Android platform and the iOS platform.

The above platforms appear quite interesting, but, what about the Microsoft platform? Can DecSoft App Builder create apps for the Microsoft platform? The answer is yes. Again, thanks to the integration with Apache Cordova, with DecSoft App Builder we can create apps for Microsoft platform, in particular, we can create apps for the Universal Windows Platform.

Did you know that the current release of DecSoft App Builder includes up to 36 app's themes ready to be used by your developed apps? This means that you can add (in designtime) one or more app's themes in your apps, and, then you can change the app's theme in runtime, that is, by user demand, for example. Then only thing that you need to do is to include the themes that you want to be available, and, then use the "SetAppTheme" action, to set the app's theme that you wanted.

We are proud to announce than the current release of DecSoft's App Builder incorporates the latest version of the fantastic Font Awesome icons pack. With Font Awesome version 5 we can choose between up to 925 icons from three different categories: Regular, Solid and Brands, to be used in our apps.

In the previous DecSoft's blog entry (Android apps with DecSoft's App Builder) we learn how to be ready with our DecSoft's App Builder apps to be run in the Android platform, that is, how we must prepare our Windows environment to install Apache Cordova and the related software, in order to get the right APK files of our apps, to be tested and deployed to the users.

In this other blog entry we will learn about what we need in order to prepare the appropriate environment for our apps to be run in the iOS platform. That is, what hardware and sofware we need in order to get the best results as possible. And what is the difference between to build our apps for the Android or the Windows platforms, and, do the same for the iOS platform.

You may already know that DecSoft's App Builder creates HTML 5 apps, WebApps, Progressive WebApps and WebExtensions, all of these, without any other dependency, that is, using only DecSoft's App Builder.

However, DecSoft's App Builder has been integrated with Apache Cordova, and, thanks to that, can also creates Hybrid mobile and desktop apps for Android, iOS, Windows 10 and other platforms.

DecSoft is proud to announce than App Builder is ready for Apple iOS 11 now. DecSoft made the appropriate changes into App Builder in order to generate the right HTML viewport for iOS 11. Additionally, the current release of App Builder creates one new icon and five new splash screens for Apple iOS, all of them in order to be ready with iOS and the Apple iPhone X, for example.

We are very proud to announce that the current available release of DecSoft's App Builder uses the Boostrap CSS framework version 4, instead of the Boostrap CSS framework version 3. This means lot of internal changes in App Builder, but always trying to save the backward compatibility (if you have any problem, please, use the support forum). By using Boostrap CSS 4 we gain new controls' kinds (colors) and other minor enhancements.
