Ade Wale (In thread: Screen Splash)
Hello Ade,

Are you take a look at the directory I mentioned above (*_Compiled\res\screens\) and the splash screen images exists? If so, take a look at the generated Batch file and assert they contains the appropiate instructions to require the Cordova's splash screen plugin. When you build the application with Cordova, take care to the console's messages: maybe we can get some information from there.

Hi David,

Thanks for your quick reply.

The images are existing eg. land-hdpi.png etc.

Do you mean this?

Ade Wale (In thread: Screen Splash)

Hi,
Regarding the image sizes there are exact size as mentioned.

Even at run time mode there is no splash screen.

I think there is something wrong somewhere.

Where I don't know.

Help!

Ade Wale (In thread: Screen Splash)
Hello Ade,

In fact what you need to do is choose the splash screens. App Builder prepares for you various splash screen images in different sizes and for various platforms. Also App Builder take care and require the appropiate Cordova's plugins in the Batch files. I don't know if this can help you or what.

I have added the appropriate images and I compile the file but there is no screen splash display at the beginning of loading the app.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

Hi David,

How did I create screen splash after I have added landscape and portrait images?

Thanks

Ade Wale (In thread: {Suggestion} Controls or Components)

Hi David,
I have some suggestion that I think that might improve AB to be more robotic among other hybrid softwares.

It will great if there components like:
Listview, Scrollview, Paypal MPL SDK, Login and GridView etc, added to current components.

Also, making those components be native look - Android, iOS and Windows feels.

Thanks.

Ade Wale (In thread: Changing Themes)
I copied an app to a new location. changed the icon, and the name of the app and Title etc. No issues there.

However when I try to change the theme from Slate to Sandstone it does not change. I have done a new build and debug but always see the old slate. Anything I am missing in this process?

As time allows....

Don

Delete your _Complied folder and save and rebuild your app.

Hi David,

Thanks it is working now.

Why do I need to installed those extras?

Ade Wale (In thread: IOS Apps, how to get them on the devices)
I am having an odd thought and maybe we can discuss here:

Given the cost factor and hassel for getting Apple apps to store etc, I am wondering if there does not exist a sort of communal account of some sorts? Something like a company account that would allow all employees to load apps etc.

So what I am saying is perhaps we could have a AppBuilder account that could be used by all here that might want to. I don't know if such a thing is possible or allowed but just raising the question and possibility.

I am not suggesting David do anything like this but if such is possible and useable and benefiical then perhaps I would consider such a thing. Those who would want to use such a thing could pay a small fee for the use etc. Nothing for profit of course,

Just a thought,,,,

Hi,

Not a bad idea, Where I was working before we had one Developer account for development team only and we all share the detail.

but Your idea can only work for David and his team as a company.

Thanks

Ade Wale (In thread: No *.APK File Generated - release-android, Debug-android etc.)

Hi,

After installed new update and ran my project with the expectation of getting ..../Build/output folder. But no output folder created.

Though I got error message on the cmd when building the files.

What could cause the issue?

Ade Wale (In thread: Feature request: Define environment in BatchFiles for Android)
Hello Jürgen and edunt,

Honestly I never thinking in this before, but, work with Java (and other tools) and also with App Builder did not sound wrong, iust I am never point in that situation and then BAT files works well. But I think your proposal is reasonable Jürgen, so let me some time to consider what can be the best possible solution here.

Hi,

Ok, there will be some issues for AB beginner users i.e if version numbers changed on Java, and Ant, they might not know how to go about it.

Thanks
