How can I change the size of the dialog box? When I look at its properties I cannot specify a specific width and height.
I am trying to figure out how to create a custom dialog box on the background script. This dialog will contain a drop down, a text box, an OK button and a cancel button. I would then call a function on this script to display it.
Thanks. Its just what I needed. I have a working example now.
I am interested in adding my own options to the browsers contextmenu (https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/reference/contextMenus/). Do you have an example of how to do this ?
I am also reading the materials at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/user_interface/Context_menu_items
I used the KeyUp event and that has achieved what I needed to do. Thanks.
The view has a text box on it. When the view disappears I want it to store the value of that text box in the browsers storage. What would be the best way to achieve this ?
Essentially my plugin has a view and when this view closes I want the app to do something as the view disappears.
When the view for the plugin is displayed it's show event is triggered. But when it disappears its hide event isn't triggered.
I had a look at that. In the end I created a timer function that refreshed every quarter of a second. Its not elegant but it seems to work.
Hi, I read the description "Runtime. Array of strings variable. The Items control property stores the items that are shown in the control. You can set this variable at designtime using the Array editor dialog or at runtime, like any other array variable." but I find myself still puzzled regarding how to populate the items attribute of the select component with an Array using Javascript.
I know that if I had to do this in HTML I would create an option element which I would then append to the select.
Is there anyway to detect changes within either the HTML tag, the body tag or the document object?
I have a textbox, textarea and select box on my user interface. How can I populate the values using Javascript ?
I am talking about Ajax calls made on the contents page. Basically as the user clicks on items on the page the plugin takes certain actions. However, the developers have started to add Ajax calls to add other items. So it would be good to get the plugin to wait for the Ajax calls to complete before attempting to reattach events to the objects on the page.
I know this isn't really an App Builder issue but is there anyway that I can add code to the WebExtContent event to detect when all Ajax related activity on the content page has been completed ? I would really appreciate all advice offered regarding this.
If I add an image to a frame or a view how can I make it so that the image changes when the user moves the mouse over it ?
