* Fix an introduced error in the previous release in the MediaSetVolume action. The error occur only if we use a MediaPlayer control in their Audio flavour and with their AutoPlay variable set to false (which is the default value).

Please, upgrade your HTML Compiler. Two new external Javascript functions has been added: one in order to execute a program and wait until their finish, and, another one to execute a program and get their output or result.

Take a look also at the new "Execute" app sample, which uses the referred added functions.

Here is a bit more information.

Here is a new DecSoft HTML Compiler release, with the below changes, fixes and enhancements:

 2019.2 (03/13/2019)
 
  * Add the new Execute app sample, which shown how we can use the
    recently added "appGetCmdOutput" and "appExecAndWait" external
    Javascript functions.
 
  * Add the new external Javascript function "appGetCmdOutput". This
    function allows to execute an external program (mainly a console
    program) and finally get the program's output or result.
  
  * Add the new external Javascript function "appExecAndWait". This
    function allows to execute an external program and wait until that
    program finish their execution.
    
  * The App Builder installer uses now the latest version of Inno Setup. 
    Among other changes, this present now a much modern install 
    assistant pages.

Hello Amin,

Please, try the following: start with 1 for the first input, not 0. So the first 1, then 2, 3, etc. If you need the focus in the 1, and this is what you get with 0, use the "Focus" action instead, but, start with 1 instead of 0. I hope this can help...

I am not completely sure where, but, when you post here the issue, what I first before anything else is to trim the JSON... just because remember that I get the same issue in the past, not related with HTML Compiler!

Certainly write and read operations don't add nothing to the file to be write or read. Look at the below "index.html" sample, I try it and works as expected after apply the "trim" function, so, probably you need to apply that "trim" function too?

Hello Paolo,

If I am right, what you wanted is to place an arbitrary HTML, including some events. We can use Javascript in order to add HTML to some HTML Control or a Container control, and then, prepare the right events for the new HTML also using Javascript.

Since the jQuery library is included in our apps by default, probably it's good to take advantage of that. I already use jQuery to append HTML code to an HTML control or Container control, and be ready with that HTML events also using jQuery.

For example, take a look at this sample app, who add an arbitrary number of "buttons" to an HTML control, and, also take care about the new buttons's Click event:

If we need too much HTML, maybe can be good to place it in an HTML file, then include that HTML file using the app's Files Manager, and, continue using jQuery to handle the appropriate events.

Here is a new DecSoft App Builder release, with the below changes, fixes and enhancements:

2019.18 (03/08/2019)

* Made certain changes in the MediaPlayer control in order to get working the AutoPlay option in Google Chrome and the Apple Safari browsers. After this changes, if AutoPlay is True, the video player start to play automatically in the referred browsers too, however, in a "muted" way.  

	This is the only way to get the AutoPlay working in the referred browsers due to their recent user policy changes. The video can be unmuted by using the "MediaSetVolume" action, but we can't use this action to "defeat" the referred browsers' policy, that is, the trick don't work if we use this action in an app's view Show event, for example.

	In few words, we have two options: set the AutoPlay option to False (this is the default ) and let the user to start to playing the video. Or, set the AutoPlay option to True, asuming that the video start playing in a muted way, so you must set the right volume (to unmute it) by an user action, like a button control Click event.

It's quite curious, Paolo. :-) Just one thing to note: since jQuery is already available in AB apps, we no need to include jQuery to our apps. You can remove the jQuery Javascript file from the app's files manager and can see the app working like before. :-)

It's quite rare, because I did not receive nothing... but when I say nothing is nothing... nor the email nor a warning from GMail... Maybe you include a zip file attached or something like that? If so... look if you can place that zip file in your server, and then send to me an URL to download the zip file...
