NeoPlugins - New npSapi plugin for VisualNeo

Hello to all,

I am proudly to announce the new npSapi plugin for VisualNeo:

This plugin allow us to use the Microsoft SAPI from our applications and therefore reproduce text to speech. The plugin can retrieve the system available voices and allow us to reproduce text to speech using any of the available voices. Also the plugin inform us when the text to speech starts and when the text to speech ends using their provided events/subroutines.

I got a quick question... do you ever concider the posibility of building a plugin con comunicate with databases? I know theres a few going around but I think the NeoPlugin signature would be much appretiated, most of the actual ones are buggy or outdated or not supported since ages...

What about the VisualNeo DBPro plugin?

Already have it. Its good, but not good enough and buggy with fundamentally brutal (eg. row deleting) bugs. Its a liability that Dave refuses to address, no updates in a long while and forces developer to look for "workarounds", report designer is super out of touch, you cant even zoom in/out (really?)
I use it, on a daily basis, but its just so wide open to improvement... Major, improvement. I'll pay ten licences a year of anything that can replace it entirely... And Im dead serious.

I'm not very informed when it comes to creating VisualNeo plugins but I think some of the commercial ones are made by using Delphi components/libraries and including this functionality into VisualNeo.

Sorry for the delay. About the main question, that is, can I made a plugin like you wanted? Probably I am not the right guy due to various reasons. Databases are not my best field and my time is now very, very limited. About the other question, that is, why can't have certain stuff? You know we can use only one hand fingers to count the currently actived VisualNeo's plugins developers.

Unfortunately I think this is a "vice circle", because out there is not too much people interested in buy plugin's licenses, and therefore not too much developers enter the VisualNeo's plugins development or continue inside for long time. I have more than 13 years of VisualNeo's plugins development and currently maintain 58 plugins with more than 1100 actions. Nobody can tell me I don't try it...
