John Clarke (In thread: WebExtensions and DecSoft App Builder)
Can I create Plugins for web browsers using App Builder ? If so how can I do this ?

John Clarke (In thread: Image Resizing)
I have created an image object on my screen. I have set the size to a specific specification (Height 24, Width 24) and added a border by setting the border style to 1. However, when it is displayed it seems to be scaling the image depending upon the size of the screen. How can I stop this from happening ?

John Clarke (In thread: Associative Arrays and Populating Drop Downs and Text Boxes)

In my code I want to create an associative array. For example :

On my view I want to have a drop down. How can I dynamically populate the drop down with the key values from the associative array (e.g. one, two, three) ?

As well as the drop down there will be 3 Text Input Boxes. The Input Boxes will be called one, two and three. So when I select one from the drop down the value of the Input Box called one will be set to Text Value 1. If I select two from the drop down the value of the input box called two will be set to Text Value 2.

How can I implement this ?

John Clarke (In thread: NavBar with Logo and Gradient Colours)
If there is no menu is it possible to hide the menu icon ? If so how ? Also how can I create a similar bar at the bottom of the screen without a menu ?

Just a thought - would it help if I emailed you the .ab file ?

John Clarke (In thread: NavBar with Logo and Gradient Colours)
The issue regarding copying the file to the compiled directory is now solved. Thanks for that. 30px for the image on the Navbar is a bit of an issue for me because the Logo of the solution that I am developing is important for the design. Is there an alternative that I can use that will allow me to have the Logo the size I need it (and scale it if it requires scaling) along with a menu on a navbar at the top of the screen ?

With regards to the image - does it have to be 30px or can it be bigger ? If so how can I make it bigger ? Also the only way I could get the image to be displayed is if I manually copied the file from the source folder to the Compiled\www\app\images folder. Can I get App Builder to do this when building ?

John Clarke (In thread: Problem when building my app)
Unfortunately that hasn't resolved the issue.

John Clarke (In thread: Problem when building my app)

When I build my app I get the following error message :

How do I resolve the error ?

Best Wishes

Do I need to put my image into a specific folder ?

John Clarke (In thread: NavBar with Logo and Gradient Colours)
I have two questions. 1. Can I have a Navbar with a Picture logo in it (on the Left Hand Side) ? If so how ? 2. Can the NavBar use gradient colors (e.g. top colour #005695 bottom colour #003963) ? If so how ? Best Wishes John

Thanks David.

John Clarke (In thread: Deployment on a Website)
Once I have designed and developed my solution I know that I can compile it as a mobile application. However, is it possible for me to be able to deploy it as a web based app too ? If so how can I do this ?

John Clarke (In thread: Opening a view and getting data from it)

I have a number of questions :

1. How can I show a view using pure Javascript?

2. have just tried something. In my first view I have a button, the code for that button is

In my second view I have another button. The code for this is :

The AlertBox function isn't working when I press the button on the first view (It only works when I comment out the ShowView "View2").

John Clarke (In thread: Opening a view and getting data from it)
I have a question regarding views.  If I have two views (lets call them View A and View B) and View A opens View B How can View A get values from the data entry boxes on View B when the user presses the close button ?How can I get View B to completely cover View A when it opens ?
