Hello Peter,
I sent to you a modified version of your sample app, since they contains some syntax errors, Peter, as the debugger already told you. In addition to the refered syntax error, I find that you are trying to mix AB code and Javascript code: there is no problem to do something like this, but, please, take a look at the External Javascript tutorial of the help file, in order to learn how we can deal with app's global variables, for example, from pure Javascript code.
Take a look at the modified app that I sent to you and try to continue with the work, Peter, and, if you find any specific problem, just post here or open a new thread in this support forum, and, we will try to help you.
Hola Jordi,
Hello Paolo,
I think I understand what you mean. Well, certainly, the designer controls' contextual menu do not take care right now about specific controls variables. That is, the menu changes accordingly the selected view, control, etc., (basically disabled or enabled some menu items) but, do not offer specific items for specific controls. Let me to think about it, Paolo, can be good, but, I am not sure how to implement it right now and have not too much time, on the other hand!
Hello Paolo,
You are completely right. Please, upgrade your AB copy: the compiler cache has been improved, and, even when probably we can see more possible improvements in the future, now works better than before, for example, if we change control's properties.

Hello Paolo,
Certainly, not all the themes are equals, in the sense that some of them have a smaller font size by default, etc. This mean that maybe we can't use all the themes with the design of our apps, or, that we must modify the themes if we wanted to use it. However, testing the NavBar sample with the "SuperHero" theme, I can't see any problem... or I am missing something...
P.S. The available themes are placed in the "[User Documents Folder]\AppBuilder\Themes\" folder. We can modify these themes and even add more themes (basically CSS files) on that folder, in order to be available to use it in our apps.

You're welcome, Adrian! :-)
Hello Adrian,
No problem. First of all... a server must can receive clear text for sure... and then put it available for another app.... but anyway, suposing we really want to encode the text and then decode it, probably what you are looking for are the actions: "StrToBase64" and their counter part "Base64ToStr".
Hello Adrian,
I think we must put clear what we wanted... encode? encrypt? hash? Maybe you can post here what you wanted? That is, in order to see if one thing or another can do the job.
Everybody can read the DecSoft support forum for learning purposes, however only DecSoft customers can post new threads. Purchase one or more licenses of some DecSoft products in order to give this and other benefits.
