The order of the forum's threads

Paolo Lops
Hi David, what do you think about to put in first position in the help topics list not the last topic inserted but the last updated? regads Paolo

Hello Paolo,

Sorry, but, I need to ask,... do you refer to the help file of App Builder? Or the website home page, maybe the product's welcome page?

Hello Paolo,

Thanks for your reply. I understand now. Let me to think about, however, since, to say like that, we are not ready for something like that... we have a "date" field in the database's table, but, not something like an "updated" field. Can be a good thing, so, we will take a look at what is the best way to do it. Thanks for the suggestion, Paolo.

Hello Paolo,

Finally we add a "thread_update" field in the right database table, so, the threads are now listed by their "update" field. You can see it in the URL that you suggested, but, also in other places, like in the same App Builder's welcome page.

Additionally, remember the below RSS feeds availables in this website, that may you can also use to be ready with the latest updated threads and more:

thank you David.!! now it is perfect!

DecSoft

Hello Paolo,

Your're welcome! In fact you are completely right... that is, the "updated" order have more sense than the "date" order. At least in the cases that we are talking about!

Paolo Lops
David Your thread_update field seems to not consider seconds? is it rigth?

DecSoft

Hello Paolo,

Humm... I think so... that is, the "update time" is set to "now" and include the seconds... May you see something rare?

Paolo Lops
ehehe... i and Peter have posted a replay with some seconds of differences ... and the mine , the young, was second.

DecSoft

Hello Paolo,

Maybe this is because the posts do not have an "updated" field? That is, only the threads have an "updated" field right now... I need sometime in order to take a look at this... in fact, maybe the "latest posts" have not too much sense... only the latest threads... and here yes, maybe a list for the latest posted threads and other list for the latest updated threads... again, some attention to this must needed... may I have some free time to do it!!
